I have become totally enthralled with your music and just emailed a friend that we absolutely have to perform Because He Lives for Easter. It is absolutely beautiful! I’ve also been trying to get the version that was written in the key of D. I’ve looked everywhere and can only find the first page on Allyse Taylor’s website. It’s a slightly simpler version and also without as many high notes. Can you help me? God has blessed you with such a wonderful talent and thank you so much for sharing it.

A couple of friends and I created Latter-day Saints for Life (LatterDaySaintsforLife.org) to promote the doctrine of the sanctity of life and to support pro-life work throughout the world. We started this two years ago and we are now in 50 states and 11 countries! We are holding our second annual conference with Elder Martinez and his wife Nuria as our guest speakers.
If you ever feel called to write a song about reverence for life, let me know!! With 200,000 babies being killed with elective abortion every DAY, we have a lot of work to do. Once again we sang a fabulous song composed by the wonderful Sister DeFord. We could hardly get through it because the choir kept crying!! (Child in a Manger) I have been singing to your compositions for years and years and decided to write you a thank you. Your work has blessed my life.
I’m so grateful for your talent and your work and your sacrifice in sharing this great music with the world. I cannot even begin to tell you how moved and profoundly influenced I have been for years. A simple thank you doesn’t seem nearly enough.
I just know that someday you’ll see the Savior and He’ll say, “I gave you 10 talents and you made them1,000. Well done, thou good and faithful servant!!”

Hi Sally!
I have finally mastered one of your compositions and I wanted to reach out and thank you. My grandma recently passed away (please don’t be sorry, she was 96 and lived a beautiful life till the end) and unfortunately a new tradition of mine is to learn a piece to play at their funerals. When my grandma died I asked the person closest to her what her favorite hymn was. I googled the hymn + piano solo and your piece “I stand all Amazed” piano solo was near the top. It was free (thank you). I only had one week till the funeral. I must’ve practiced 40-50 hours on the piece before I had to perform it, I got through the song but I butchered it. I felt TERRIBLE. Anyways, I have literally practiced your song on a DAILY basis for about four months now, maybe played it around one thousand times lol. I LOVE IT!!!!!!! It is such a beautiful piece that I will keep in my repertoire till either I can’t play anymore or till I die, which ever comes first. I’m not active anymore but I told my parents I’d like to play it at their local ward so that at least some other people can appreciate something I’ve invested so much effort into now. Have a great day
